Aromatic amines pose a significant threat to human health as they are known to be carcinogenic. These harmful compounds are frequently present in textile products and various industrial items, particularly when azo dyes degrade over time. Despite being prohibited due to their health risks, aromatic amines can still be detected in these products.This project aims to measure these harmful compounds in textile dyes of different colors to understand better and control their presence. We'll collaborate with the students to select colors for our research. We'll begin with colors where AAs have been commonly used. Along the way, we'll gather detailed information about amine usage. We'll make sure the samples are prepared for analysis using the new method.
